Beautiful Monument Valley Park is a short walk away and has an outdoor pool (summer) gravel running/walking/bike path and playgrounds. Great location to enjoy this gorgeous city! This is a mixed use neighborhood with restaurants, businesses, schools and Victorian era apartments near by.

Suite access use keypad on front door. Barbeque and outside seating area. Is in front of the building by the totem pole. This is a shared space for use of our guests and residents, we just ask that you clean the area up when you are done. Also, please turn the gas off when done, the propane bottle is located just below the grill behind the doors. Enjoy!!

This spacious suite has 2 floors. Upper master bedroom with king bed, and full bath, and 1 bedroom/study with day bed. Main level has a 1 queen sofa sleeper, bathroom with standing shower and a washer and dryer. Full kitchen and an electric fireplace in the living room. Free parking for one small to medium sized vehicle in front of the apartment, and free street parking. *Optional cot for an extra guest available upon request. Note: The upstairs master bathroom is only accessible through the master bedroom. Guests of the second upstairs bedroom will normally use the second bathroom located on the first floor. La suite Penrose est un excellent endroit où séjourner à Springs. L'emplacement est imbattable, à distance de marche du centre-ville et facilement accessible aux autres attractions du Colorado. La maison correspond exactement à la description, avec des chambres confortables et beaucoup d'espace de vie. La cuisine est entièrement équipée, y compris du café (ce que j'apprécie particulièrement lors de courts séjours). Ingrid et Frank sont très sympathiques et réactifs. Penrose suite is a great place to stay in the Springs. You can’t beat the location, walkable to downtown and easily accessible to other CO attractions. The house is exactly how it’s described, comfortable bedrooms, lots of living space. The kitchen has everything you need, to include coffee (something I appreciate when traveling for just a few days). Ingrid and Frank are very friendly and responsive.

Ma femme et moi avons été très impressionnés par cette propriété. Bien qu'il s'agisse d'une unité dans une propriété à plusieurs logements, nous avions l'impression de séjourner dans une maison indépendante. Le stationnement était facile — juste devant la porte — et l'emplacement était parfait : proche du centre-ville, de l'université et des attractions qui nous intéressaient. L'intérieur était magnifique et plein de charme. Nous avons trouvé que les boiseries et le mobilier étaient chaleureux et accueillants. La cuisine et la chambre/salle de bain étaient plus modernes. Concernant la chambre, elle était de bonne taille et nous avons trouvé le matelas confortable. Je me suis réveillé sans mal de dos sur le matelas en mousse à mémoire de forme ferme. La salle de bain était fraîche et propre. Nous n'avons pas dormi sur la banquette-lit, mais le bureau était un bon endroit pour travailler un peu. Nous avons beaucoup utilisé la cuisine, aussi bien pour le petit-déjeuner que pour le dîner, et elle disposait de tous les ustensiles et casseroles/poêles dont nous aurions pu avoir besoin. Dans l'ensemble, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous et nous serions ravis de revenir si/nous revenons à Colorado Springs. My wife and I were very impressed by this property. Despite being one unit in a multi-unit property, we felt as though we were staying in a separate home. Parking was easy -- right in front of the door -- and the location was perfect -- close to downtown, the university, and attractions in which we were interested. The interior was beautiful and full of charm. We found the wood paneling and furnishings to be warm and welcoming. The kitchen and bedroom/bathroom were more modern. Regarding the bedroom, it was a good size, and we found the mattress to be comfortable. I woke with no back pain on the firm memory foam mattress. The bathroom was fresh and clean. We did not sleep on the daybed, but the study was a good place to get a little work done. We did use the kitchen extensively for both breakfast and dinner, and it had all the utensils and pots/pans that we would have ever needed. Overall, it felt like home, and we'd love to stay again if/when we return to Colorado Springs.

C'était agréable de trouver des extras comme des essuie-tout, des mouchoirs, du savon et autres. Parfois, on n'en a qu'un seul et ensuite on doit se débrouiller. L'emplacement était parfait pour explorer à la fois la ville et la campagne. Frank était toujours disponible lorsque nous avions une question. Je recommande vivement cet endroit. We were extremely happy at this apartment. It was just as advertised. Nice to see extras of things like paper towels, tissues, soap and the like. Sometimes you get one and then you’re in your own. The location was perfect to explore both the city and the countryside. Frank was always available when we had a question. I would highly recommend this spot.
